GREGORIO CONCHA-TORO, Board Chair
Gregorio Concha-Toro’s passion for helping kids find their identity and sense of purpose is rooted in his upbringing. Growing up as a first-generation American, he witnessed those in his community struggle because they grappled with their place in the world. In addition to his passion, he brings a background in corporate strategy and human-centered design thinking to create meaningful and user-centric impact for Roads to Success and its ecosystem of members.

As a strategist and operations leader for Eleanor Health, Gregorio is focused on ensuring the organization is tackling the opioid crisis as effectively as possible. Before Eleanor Health, he was a business strategist and designer for Doblin and the Monitor Group, Deloitte’s Innovation and Corporate Strategy practices, helping clients tackle their most complex questions and issues about their future. He has developed growth strategies for companies and designed innovative solutions to avoid disruption across multiple industries.

Outside of work, you can find him empowering children through Roads to Success, biking around New York, or sailing. He graduated with a B.S. in Business and Political Economy and a minor in advance mathematics from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a native speaker of Spanish and English.

JONATHAN BACH
Jonathan Bach has a passion for writing poetry, capturing analog photography, and growing bonsai. His interest in Roads to Success stems from his belief that youth need to hold onto creativity, especially in a world that structurally takes it away. He's a partner at Apart, a family of activist companies, and spends most of his day supporting hero brands and social enterprises that are working to design a better world. He holds a B.S. in Finance from NYU Stern.

COLLEEN BLANCO
Colleen Blanco is in-house counsel at Clayton, Dublier & Rice, a New York private equity firm. Prior to joining CD&R, she practiced corporate law in the investment management group of Davis Polk & Wardwell. Colleen received her BA and MA in English from Fordham University and her JD from St. John's University School of Law.

HENRY BURBANK
Henry Burbank is a Senior Analyst at Next Street, a boutique advisory firm that works with governments, nonprofits, and corporations to support small businesses. He largely focuses on helping financial institutions and philanthropic groups navigate challenges related to strategic planning, corporate development, and investment advisory. Prior to Next Street, Henry spent two years as a structured finance analyst at a European bank. He began his career as a 7th and 8th grade teacher with Teach for America - South Dakota, an experience that sparked his interest in helping young people build self-confidence and identify their passions. Henry holds a B.A. in Political Science from Kenyon College and lives in Brooklyn, New York.

SAAD CECIL
Saad Cecil is the Senior Manager of the Etsy, Revenue Accounting team. Saad has over 10 years of accounting experience, which includes two years as Controller, two years as an Audit Associate in EY’s assurance practice, and 10 years of corporate accounting experience. Saad began his career as a Controller at Roads to Success (then known as Oasis), also working closely with school-aged youth. Saad received a BA in Accounting from CUNY-Hunter College in 2006, is a licensed CPA in both New York and California, a licensed Certified Fraud Examiner, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

NATALIE CUCHEL
Natalie Cuchel works with the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center (NSDFC). She works primarily with not-for-profit organizations and unions who want to help their employees/members get the accurate information they need to reduce their monthly payments and achieve loan forgiveness as soon as possible through the many complex and ever changing government repayment programs available to them.
Prior to NSDFC, Natalie worked in different capacities in NYC’s not for profit community. She brought enrichment programs to school children living in NYC family shelters, was co-founder of one of NYC’s first Charter School, and is a founding member of Roads to Success which she led as executive director from 2002-2008. She is a graduate of Hampshire College and Bank Street College where she received an MS in Education.

JACKIE FUSCO
Jackie Fusco is an accountant with Jane Street. She has over 10 years of experience providing accounting and assurance services. She was previously an Audit Senior Manager with EisnerAmper LLP, providing accounting and auditing services to hedge funds, private equity funds, broker-dealers, investment managers, and other financial service entities. Jackie is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She received her B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and lives in New York City

JANINE LYONS
Janine Lyons is a Vice President, Business Manager for TIAA Bank (TIAA’s online bank). She has almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in wealth management and banking. She began her career with Citi Smith Barney where she held various project management and product management positions. Janine has a BSBA in Finance from American University and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia.

CHARLIE MILES
Charlie Miles is a founding member and the CIO of Claris Capital Management. Prior to starting Claris Capital Management, he was a Portfolio Manager for Del Mar Asset Management and a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2002, he was a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers Citibank, where he managed the US equity derivatives sales force from 1996 through 2001. He started his Wall Street career in 1983 at Salomon Brothers, where he was an equity analyst involved in quantitative research, portfolio construction and trading.

Charlie received a BA in Economics and Political Science from Middlebury College in 1983. Charlie was the Board Chair of Roads to Success from 2010-2014. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Naomi and three children.

D’JUAN A. NEAL
D’Juan A. Neal is an attorney in the Blank Rome Finance, Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group. Mr. Neal represents many leading institutional lenders including commercial banks, finance subsidiaries of banks, private equity groups, and finance companies. D’Juan’s practice background includes areas such as cash flow and asset-based lending, split collateral lending, first lien/second lien and mezzanine financings, acquisitions and leverage recapitalization financing. Prior to joining Blank Rome, Mr. Neal served as a director of wealth management compliance for a leading global financial services firm.

D’Juan is a resident of Harlem, who moved to the big apple after receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law and his BS in Industrial Engineering and Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, and sits on the Executive Board of Roads to Success, an organization committed to the academic, personal and professional development of all New York City youth. D’Juan was named to the National Black Lawyers’ 2019 class of Top 40 under 40.

ALLIE O'SHEA
Allie O'Shea is a second a year student at Harvard Business School (HBS). Prior to HBS, Allie worked at Deloitte Consulting, where she helped her clients address a variety of strategic and operational challenges. Allie also has experience working in and across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to address racial, gender, and economic inequality. Most recently, Allie has co-led efforts to establish an HBS Impact Investing Fund focused on investing growth capital in minority-owned businesses in the Boston area. Allie has also worked at Dudley Square Main Streets to support small minority-owned businesses, partnered with the Chicago Police Department on reform efforts, supported the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative on gender equity research, and interned at Hack.Diversity to improve Black and Latinx representation in technology. Allie graduated from Boston College with a BS in Economics and Minor in International Studies.

CAROLINE PAPADATOS

MARIANO PORTOCARRERO
Mariano Portocarrero is a Vice President at Wells Fargo. At Wells Fargo, he is responsible for originating, underwriting, and syndicating senior secured credit facilities ranging between $35 million and $5 billion for commercial and corporate borrowers. He has experience negotiating legal documentation, coordinating business due diligence, and facilitating collateral evaluations with third party appraisal and audit firms. Mariano formerly worked in the Office of Advancement at Fairfield University for four years and sat on the board of Fairfield University Alumni Association’s NY Chapter for two years. He competed in the Fairfield University Start Up competition and was featured in multiple Fairfield University publications. Mariano holds a B.S. in Finance from Fairfield University and lives in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

JEAN TEO
Jean Teo has experience with after-school programs and children’s activities. She was the Hunter College Elementary School parent chess coordinator for 5 years coordinating numerous chess events including the school’s team participation in the bi-annual US Chess Nationals. She worked at KPMG UK in the Assurance department and was a financial consultant prior to moving to NYC. Jean received a M.A in Economics and Management Studies from University of Cambridge, UK. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
